Summer is coming up, get ready to learn something new. Surely you can read a good book or travel around learning from stories, people, life itself. However there is something intriguing about Summer Schools, something in between a personal experience and a professional development opportunity, meeting new people in a new city. Dove nasce la co-creazione? [ITA]

Where does co-creation come from?
Here we go with my first Italian post on this site. It’s about co-creation and it has been written for the blog of the HUB Siracusa. Will try in English next time!

Introducing the ScicliGovJam

Here we go, it’s time to jam once more! This time we are playing harder, planning to rock the public sector in only 48hours… will it be possible? Will local authorities across the globe engage with our serious play activities and let creativity take over?

A Jam is about improvisation, experimentation and innovation, an interdisciplinary environment where testing ideas, building prototypes and presenting quirky business models is possible. “Doing, not talking!” Working around a common theme, small teams meet at multiple locations, working for 48 hours on building innovative approaches and solutions towards challenges faced by the public sector. At the end of the two days, they upload their results and publish them for the world. This is the jam format that had a great success during the previous Global Service Jam and Global Sustainability Jam. There is no secret, everything is shared among thousands of ‘jammers‘around the world, a real tribe.
